The Fall Seed Grant 2025 initiative, in partnership with Patient Associations, is now open. The initiative aims to fund seed research projects through 4 single-center calls, for 12-month proposals with a maximum budget of € 50.000, focusing on the following rare genetic diseases:
- Xia-Gibbs syndrome (XGS)
- Autosomal recessive spastic ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay (ARSACS)
- Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC)
- DDX3X Syndrome (DDX3X)
For these monothematic calls, Fondazione Telethon established a collaboration agreement with the following Patient Associations:
These calls will allow the generation of data and the creation of new knowledge to pave the road for the development of new therapeutic approaches for rare genetic diseases.
Investigators - working either in public or private Italian non-profit research Institutions, including the Fondazione Telethon Institutes (SR-TIGET and TIGEM) are eligible regardless of their funding status with Fondazione Telethon ETS.
Applicants can submit only one project within the Fall Seed Grant 2025 initiative, as Lead Applicant.
